Boasting 96 percent forest coverage and abundant negative oxygen ions, it earns its reputation as a "natural oxygen bar". The scenic area resembles an irregular shape of the Chinese character fei ("非"), with a main gully branching into numerous secluded valleys. A winding stream connects waterfalls and crystal-clear springs amid layers of verdant peaks.

The scenic area has tapped into its rich local history and cultural heritage to create attractions that incorporate historical stories and cultural traditions. It also hosts a variety of themed events throughout the year, blending natural beauty with a rich cultural experience.
